Today the directors of 2OC have responded to the Government’s Energy Review. This response is in two parts. The first section provides some background to 2OC as a company, and to geo-pressure technology. It also explains how the current energy policy applies to geo-pressure. The second section provides specific responses to the questions outlined in the Energy Review consultation document.

Geo-pressure energy has some important benefits which help toward the Government’s own energy policy goals, as set out in the 2003 Energy White Paper. These goals, and the potential contribution by 2OC, are detailed in the attached document.
