Andrew Barnard is responsible for supply chain management for sustainable biomass, development of 2OC’s involvement in second generation technology and negotiation of electricity supply agreements.

Prior to joining 2OC, Andrew was the Business Development and Oilseeds Director for Grainfarmers Plc for five years where he was responsible for the development of non-food and energy aid crops, and oilseeds marketing.  He was also a member of the Risk Management Committee.

For much of his time with Grainfarmers Plc, Andrew was also President of Coceral, the body representing the national interests of the grain, oilseeds and animal feed trade sectors, in the EU 25 member states, at the EU Commission.

Prior to Grainfarmers’ acquisition of Dalgety Group’s crop marketing activities in 2003, Andrew worked for the Dalgety Group for a number of years where his roles included Commercial Director.  In this capacity he was responsible for a number of agricultural activities including the raw material supply chain and formulations for the company’s 19 animal feed mills; grain and oilseeds marketing agreements with UK and EU grain and oilseed processors.
